Finger Reader designed by Hansub Lee is a device which allows visually impaired people to learn details about a product they would want to purchase/use through bar codes. The idea is to scan a bar code and relate the information to the user via audio signals.
The Finger Reader comprises of a wearable device to be fitted on a finger and an earpiece to listen to the information. In order to function, the reader which is worn on the finger is moved across the bar code. On obtaining the required information it relates the same to the user via a bluetooth enabled earphone thus allowing the listener to know more about the commodity.
