The alarming issue of diabetes is very much known to us. Infographics, figures and data presents us with the dismal picture of the large number of people affected by this condition. Thus it is indeed necessary for all of us to seriously give it a thought and take charge of our health with the various devices provided.

"American Heart Association estimates that: 59.7 million Americans, 20 years and older have prediabetes. Half of American Adults Headed for Diabetes by 2020."

The BlueCircle glucose wristband is one such tool that has been designed to monitor the  blood glucose level from a person's sweat. When a user wearing the band perspires while exercising, the sweat travels through a layer of advanced GSR strip to calculate the blood sugar level ultimately displaying it on the OLED screen. Designed by David Seo, this non invasive method thus could help people in knowing their sugar levels before matters get out of hand.
