Amazon unveiled Monday an online store focused on the parts and supplies business — think drill bits, automatic hand dryers, laboratory centrifuges and miniature polyimide tubing, among other things. The store is aimed at buyers in the business, industrial, scientific and commercial spaces.

The store, called AmazonSupply.com, offers products in 14 different categories, including:

  • Lab & Scientific
  • Test, Measure & Inspect
  • Occupational Health & Safety
  • Janitorial & Sanitation
  • Office
  • Fleet & Vehicle Maintenance
  • Power & Hand Tools
  • Cutting Tools
  • Abrasives & Finishing
  • Material Handling
  • Materials
  • Hydraulics Pneumatics & Plumbing
  • Fasteners
  • Power Transmission

Amazon has been offering products in many of these categories since acquiring industrial goods supplier SmallParts, Inc. in 2005. Amazon has lately been working to group and brand various categories as separate destinations, most recently launching a print campaign and hiring seasoned buyers for Amazon.com/Fashion.
