sidecar 572x448 Android App of the Week: Sidecar Lets Your Friends See What You SeeSidecar is another calling-over-Wi-Fi app, but one with a unique twist. Using Sidecar, you can show your friend real-time video by streaming it from your device.

Sidecar only allows you to make calls over Wi-Fi, but all calls between Sidecar users are free. Additionally, all calls to phones in the United States and Canada are free, regardless of whether or not the person on the other end is using Sidecar.

Sidecar's main feature is See What I See Video – live, streaming video from your device's camera to your friend's screen. You can also share photos, locations, and contact information while in call. Texting someone while in a call with a different person is also possible, which should make spontaneous get-togethers a little smoother.

Sidecar is available for free now on Google Play.
