If you thought regular 3D printers were cool, wait till you get a load of the Play-Doh 3D Printer. As 3D printers continue to get more popular, the team at Play-Doh decided to join in on the fun as well with this offering.
This innovative device allows any user the ability to design something on the included iPad 3D app, and print directly to the printer. The twist here is that the printer spits the object out in three different colors of the classic Play-Doh modeling compound. To make things even more fun, the printer itself is crank powered, which means more hands on experience for the user. Before you get too excited, we should let you know that this concept is nothing more than a little April Fool's joke from our friends at Think Geek.
