Polaroid has released its new Z2300 Instant Digital Camera that provides a modern twist on an their classic version. The instant digital camera has a integrated ZINK Technology printer inside of it that allows you to take the photos digitally and then print them on a 2 x 3-inch hard copy immediately…similar to their classic version! But unlike Polaroid Instant Film, there is no waiting for the picture to develop and it takes less than a minute to print a single photo.
But now that it's digital, users can now upload images taken with the camera to social media sites like Facebook. But the printer integrated into the camera uses no ink and instead uses a composite material that has cyan, yellow, and magenta dye crystals embedded in paper. The printer uses heat to activate and colorize the crystals to deliver a clear and vibrant print in less than a minute. The Z2300's camera resolution is 10-megapixels and it comes with a 3-inch LCD on the back so you can preview the image before you print. User can also set it to automatically print every photo or pick and choose the ones you want printed. The camera lets you add frames or you can print with the classic Polaroid border, and sticky-back Zink paper is available, too. It'll come in two colors, black and white, and will retail at $159.99, with the 2 x 3″ ZINK paper going for 24.99 for 50 sheets, and a 30-sheet pack is available for $14.99.
