There are more than enough styluses to choose from when it comes to your tablet. The two most notable are the iPen and the BlueTiger. Both offer pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, and what is hopefully a comparable accuracy, That said, the iPen requires a dongle where as the Bluetiger stands alone just like the Jot Touch by adonit.
The Jot Touch will release in just a few days times (7/30) and cost $99.99 (the Bluetiger is still TBD0. Unlike the aforementioned styluses, it would seem that it lacks palm rejection. That, or adonit has failed to include this vital tidbit of info in their marketing material. Like the Bluetiger stylus, the Jot Touch doesn't require a dongle, connects to your iPad via Bluetooth, and is able to sense just how hard you're pressing and in turn increase or decrease the thickness of the drawn line – how sensitive we don't know, but don't expect Wacom like sensitivity.
And although it lacks palm rejection technology, adonit does provide a few attachments to help replicate your pen to paper experience. These include a dampening tip, which is said to provide an experience more analogous to that of pen to paper; and a Precision Disc, which is apparently something like your fingertip – how that is a good thing we don't know. Other features include a set of shortcut buttons, such as switching to your eraser or undoing a finger flick, as well as a USB charger that simply requires you insert the pen's butt end into its hole.
We're not counting Android out of the picture, but it would seem, at least based on the selection of apps that are fully compatible with the Jot Touch, that they're gearing it towards the iPad crowd. And rightfully so, as it's the most popular tablet on the market, though Microsoft's Surface offers a far better drawing experience.
