We focus A LOT on modern DIY projects that we think would look good around a modern home. That is, after all, why we run this blog: to bring modern design into anyone's home; to make it accessible to everyone. But, we care about things that make life easy, and we sure as heck love sustainability, so if you'll allow us, we're sharing a great DIY project that we think modern design lovers and those who care about the planet might like: a T-Shirt Produce Bag!
So, we are totally still a jerk and use plastic bags for our produce! Even though we've completely switched over to cloth grocery totes, we still use the tiny plastic ones to stick our veggies in. We've just never quite broke that habit. So, imagine our delight in finding this easy-to-do project that might help us reuse a bunch of old T-shirts we have and could help us finally break that produce plastic bag habit. Get all the instructions at Delia Creates. And may we say? They look cool just as fashion totes, too!
