Sitting 9,600 feet above sea level is Summit Soap, a small grassroots company that is dedicated to helping reduce waste on the planet and preserving its natural resources. Summit Soap's business hinges entirely on the concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling, and all of their soaps are made using purified, recycled cooking oil — a resource that has been overlooked and treated as waste throughout the history of commercial eateries. The company collects the used oil using their grease powered pick-up truck, and then the thousands of gallons of grease they find is processed and turned into awesome bio-products.
