Looking at these Sliced Metal Sculptures makes one wonder about the wonderful technologies we have access to. In order to invent new ways to be creative, artists strive to use the available technologies and information to create interesting exhibition-worthy pieces. Korean sculptor Chan Girl Park's works surprise well-known things in an unusual way – layers of thin metal are stacked on top of each other and cut to shape the easily recognisable silhouettes. Describing them as "sliced images", the designer uses three-dimensional topography charts to plan where the next slice is going to land to form a 3D image. Found on MyModernMet, these sculptures represent a part of the artist's work. Chan Girl Park had many solo and group exhibitions across Korea and China, so it seems that his works have touched a lot of people and impressed many visitors. We know we're impressed, how about you?

Eline Pellinkhof Wall Embroidery 4 Innovative Decorating Idea: Eline Pellinkhofs Wall Embroidery [Video] We recently received some inspiring pictures that depict Eline Pellinkhof's fun cross-stick wall embroideries. Eline Pellinkhof's Wall Embroidery is a cheerful way to decorate your walls using a chic handmade pattern. The artist is a Netherlands-based craft material and fabric patterns freelance designer and her talent shows throughout her work. The cross-stitch murals were all done by hand, but Eline has designed a stencil that helps anyone decorate the walls with the beautiful and creative pattern. The stencil will be available starting October on Eline's website. Paint it on the walls, on canvas or fabric, the wall embroidery will look fabulous!  If you want to see a video of the photo shoot for her Wall Embroidery, scroll down to the end of the post and enjoy! Meeting Bowls is a new urban furniture installation recently displayed by Madrid-based mmmm… in partnership with the Times Square Alliance. According to PSFK, it is an innovative project aimed at encouraging spontaneous dialogs between random people visiting Times Square in New York. Here is more from the developers: "Meeting Bowls are large objects shaped like bowls with seating to accommodate eight people. The inviting semi-spherical capsules are installed outdoors in spaces with high pedestrian traffic. They are designed to promote interaction by having those seated inside face one another. These "social" benches are more intimate than typical public benches. The Meeting Bowls are designed to generate a slight rocking motion as they rebalance when people step into and out of them. The gentle motion generated is intended to be relaxing and fun much like a swing but one for adults". Do you believe this idea could be implemented at a larger scale?
