Asus ET2220 series All-in-one PC with 10-point Multitouch Display

Asus announced the ET2220 series of all-in-one PC with optional 10-point multitouch display optimized for Windows 8 experience. The 21.5-inch AIO has a unique space-saving photo-frame inspired design and can be tilted from 16° to 45° for an ergonomic viewing position. Its silver stand can also be used as a carrying handle.

The ET2220 is powered by choice of Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5-3330, Core i3-3220, Sandy Bridge or Pentium G645 processor. The INTI and INKI models will get NVIDIA's GeForce GT610M 1GB graphics card while the IUTI and IUKI models packs only integrated Intel HD graphics. All models will have up to 8GB of DDR3RAM, up to 2TB hard drive and a tray-in DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-ray combo optical drive.

The 21.5-inch display has Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and LED-backlit. Only INTI and IUTI will come with 10-point capacitive multitouch capability. Other features include HDMI in, HDMI out, SD/SDHC card reader, USB 3.0 connector as well as  two built-in 5W stereo speakers with SonicMaster Technology for optimized audio. The ET2220 is VESA-mount compatible.

The Asus ET2220 series comes shipped with Windows 8 Pro operating system.

Beats Electronics introduces the new Beats By Dr. Dre Beats Pill portable wireless speaker with NFC and apt-X technology. Specifically designed to optimize sound quality, the Pill integrates Beats Audio algorithm, apt-X technology and a four-speaker system to provide the "highest quality portable listening experience." The speaker is also the first product developed by Beats Electronics, after breaking up with Monster Cable.

The Beats Pill uses Bluetooth for wireless streaming and supports NFC for one-tap pairing. It is also a speakerphone featuring built-in microphone for hands-free calling, and echo cancellation for call clarity and feedback controo. The speaker also has 3.5mm line-in jack for connecting directly with audio source, and a 3.5mm line-out jack for connection to an external speaker system. Its rechargeable li-ion battery provides 7 hours of continuous play, and can be charged via micro USB. The auto-shut-off feature will turn the Pill off after 30 minutes of no signal detection so as to save power.

The Beats Pill portable speaker is available in black, white and red for $199. A 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable, USB 2.0 charge cable, AC power adapter and a carry case with carabiner are included.

If the Contour+2 is too expensive for you, take a look at Contour's newest ContourROAM2 action camera that is designed to "make action video dead simple". While the Contour+2 needs a waterproof case, the ROAM2 has a waterproof design that you can take it in water up to 1 meter without the need for a case. The lightweight camera has a low profile design and comes in red, blue, green and black colors.

Equipped with 5 Megapixel sensor, the ContourROAM2 can shoot in Full HD 1080/30p resolution or 720p at 60fps. It also does still image shooting in 9 differnet time intervals. The action cam has a 270° rotating lens with a 170-degree wide angle, built-in laser level for getting correct angle and a Locking Instant On-Record switch that makes sure users can get perfect shots. It has 4GB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB.

At $199, half the price of Contour+2, don't expect to find GPS, Bluetooth, HDMI on the ContourROAM2. Its battery offers 3.5 hours of video recording.

GoPro HERO3 White, Silver and Black Editions Action Cameras

GoPro introduces its new HERO3 line of action cameras, including the White, Silver and Black models. About 30% smaller and 25% lighter than its predecessor, the HERO3 cameras sports built-in WiFi connectivity. The professional-grade Black Edition is capable of 4K video recording at 15fps and 2.7K at 30fps. Of course, you also also capture video at lower resolutions – 1440p@48fps, 1080p@60fps, 960p @100fps and 720p@120fps. It also shoots 12 Megapixel still images with 30fps burst.

The HERO3 Silver, on the other hand, is a prosumer-grade action camera with 11 Megapixel sensor, while the consumer-level HERO3 White packs 5 Megapixel sensor. Both of them record 1080p Full HD video at 30fps. With built-in WiFi, you can use the free GoPro app for remote control and live video preview on your smartphones or tablet. The Black model will come with the wearable waterproof WiFi Remote that can contrl up to 50 Wi-Fi-enabled GoPros at a time from a range of 600.

All three HERO3 models come with 60m Waterproof Housing, Quick Release Mount, a curved adhesive mount and a flat adhesive mount. The Silver and Black versions will also get a 3-way pivot. GoPro will also release the HERO3 Black Edition-Surf that comes with a surfboad mount instead of curved and flat adhesive mounts. The White, Silver and Black editions are priced at $199.99, $299.99 and $399.99 respectively.
