When it comes to LEDs, these look so good when integrated into home decor. However, people have different ways of integrating LEDs in their homes, some use simple lighting and some use it in the form of fancy furniture studded with all the LED stuff. But, not everyone can afford ready-made fancy LED furniture, and I say even if you can afford don't buy it if you can make it yourself. And, it seems easy, really easy.
Stuff Required
• Glue gun
• 2-by-5 foot wood slab
• Four 18 inch wooden table legs
• Multicolored LED lights, number you can decide
• 16-20 wood screws
• Sandpaper
• Drill
• Soapy water
• Washcloth
• Glass piece measuring equal to the wooden slab
• Some hooks
To begin with:
You can find the wooden slab and wooden legs in your store or the local dump. Make sure the wooden slab and the wooden legs match in color and texture, preventing ugliness. The rest of the stuff you could either buy from your supermarket or borrow from a friend. But, I am sure you might be having the glue gun, the drill, the screws, sandpaper, washcloth and soapy water, so I don't think you would mind hunting them down in your home.
1) As you have all the stuff, place the wooden slab on the ground. Now, make ready the wooden legs to be attached to the slab, one by one. Make one leg stand on the surface of the slab, hold it with your hand and with the other drill it into the slab by putting in four screws. Remember to screw in the four wood screws on each side of the leg. And, repeat the same for each leg. And, your table is ready.
2) Now, turn over the fully constructed table to test whether the construction strong or not.
3) Now, using the sandpaper you can sand down the uneven legs of the table.
4) In order to give your table a smooth and clean look, clean the table with the soapy washcloth. Remember, I told you to keep the washcloth and soapy water handy, that was for this purpose.
5) Now, attach all the LED lights with strings to the surface of the table with the help of a glue gun, holding the strings in place for 30 minutes.
6) Allow all the lights to set in for 24 hours.
7) Once this is done, attach the piece of glass to the table as a table top with some hooks or in any other way you think would be appropriate.
8) Finally, plug in the lights and have fun.
