If you are the really organized sort that is looking to take your office organization skills to the l33t level Primera has a new printer that you will want to hit the boss up for pronto. The printer is called the RX900 color RFID printer and it can print RFID tags on demand. This is the first and only on-demand color RFID tag printer.
That color capability makes it ideal for settings like the medical office where a color coding system is used. The tags that are printed are EPC Global Gen 2 Class 1 and ISO 18000 -b and -c certified. The printer can be used for all sorts of needs including name badges with RFID capability, wristbands, and tags for retail needs and more.
The only downside to being able to print your own color RFID tags is that the printer is expensive at $4995. I also wonder how much the ink and the RFID paper it uses will cost, the price for consumables isn't offered.
