You ever wonder if in the future we'll cut out the middle man and just learn how to read 1′s and 0′s ourselves? Or if our eyesight will evolve so that it basically just sees everything in pixelated wonderment? Well get started on the road to the future early with this DIY project that will let folks know that you are totally prepared for any shift in visual or verbal communications.

The blog over at Wit & Whistle stumbled upon this DIY project quite by accident; while scaling some photos down they accidentally pressed "15 pixels" instead of "1500 pixels" and liked the affect. It was a bunch of colored squares that just hinted at the image. If you've been searching for a super simple-to-make art piece that you could have a personal connection with and tell people you actually made, this is it. The instructions are all laid out for you clear as pie, but we suggest playing around with the pixellation. 15 seems a little too unclear for us; we'd like to see a little more detail so you can make out what the image is just a tad bit. Decide for yourself here.
