Cuba is that wonderful tropical place filled with palm trees, sparkling ocean and sandy beaches. If you want to bring in your home the warm, casual and tropical feel of their natural landscape you should opt for a Cuban interior design.Take the colors of Cuba and transpose them to your walls like Alina Dobre from care?cutare does, furniture and accessories from the color palette of the jazz and salsa, orange, coral, sunny yellow and lush shades of green and highlight them with white, gray and cream. For a real Cuban feel, take vintage pieces from 1930's , '40's even '50's and integrate them in your design to draw the retro flair of the Cuban streets of that period.
Natural elements as well can be used, because after all Cuba is filled with wood and lush, green vegetation. Light-colored fabrics are typically seen as tropical, so you may choose drapes in shades of blue, and white, cream bedding.
Light is a major component in an interior like this, so allow as much natural light to get in and to bring you a glim of those bright beaches, where sun shines almost the whole year. If you have the possibility, use terra cotta, a strong element in the Cuban architecture. From vases to floor tiles this material its durable and has an airy feel from the Cuban climate.
